These are some things to look out for when hiring a company to install your gutters.
"20 years of experience"
Is that 20 years of experience the actual number of years your installer has been installing gutters or is
that a combined total of years that everyone who works for that particular company has been installing gutters? Make sure
your installer (the person actually doing the work) has a good amount of experience or you could end up with crooked leaky
gutters.
"FREE"
Every gutter company should offer free estimates. Free corners, free spouts. etc...are things that are usually
added in to the total footage of your job. Chances are, you are paying for those "freebies" and you just aren't aware of it.
We offer free estimates, but do not try to fool you with other free encentives. Glen will offer you the best price we can
offer. We do not have a fleet of trucks and extra "workers" and maintain an office at our home too keep the overhead costs
down. We pass those savings along to you.
"Custom cut, many colors, hidden hangars"
Most gutter companies offer several different color options. Most offer "custom fit", too. All gutter companies
use the same type of machinery and materials. There are a few different brands, but all are basically the same. Don't be fooled
by a company that calls themselves a manufacturer. We all use the same type of gutter forming machine and all will custom
cut the gutter at your home for a perfect fit. The gutter is made from a large coil of aluminum that is fed into a gutter
machine that forms the gutter and cuts it to the desired length. All gutter companies offer several color options. Again,
we all use the same suppliers and we can all get you a color that closely matches your home.
The most important thing to do when shopping around is to ask your friends and neighbors for recommendations.
Check out your local BBB for information. Take the time to do a little research.
